Dr. Jonathan Maxham is a South Carolina native who graduated from Kansas City University of Medicine and has practiced as an internal medicine physician since 2009. He joined the United States Air Force in 2005 and, during his military career, deployed to Afghanistan and received the Army Commendation Medal. At Nellis Air Force Base he cared for thousands of patients and became proficient in weight management, sleep apnea, diabetes, blood pressure, and whole person prevention. After completing his service as a Major in 2016, he continued into hospital medicine and set out to be, in his own words, a doctor like it used to be.
